Project Overview:
The Scheduler will join the Quarry Project, a significant new limestone line near Vaulx as part of the broader GO4ZERO Initiative. This project aims to enhance sustainability and efficiency in Holcim's operations.
Mission:
The Scheduler will support the Program Director, Project Managers, and the Construction Manager by developing, maintaining, and updating the Master Time Schedule for the Quarry site under the GO4ZERO Initiative, ensuring project milestones are met efficiently and on time.
Main Tasks:
- Project Software Management: Implement and manage project management software (Primavera) effectively within the Quarry Project.
- Communication: Serve as the primary communication link between the PMO Manager, project managers, construction manager, project engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor and report on construction and erection progress at the Vaulx site.
- Resource Management: Utilize resource management tools and techniques to maximize efficiency across the Quarry Project.
- Schedule Optimization: Continuously refine the project schedule to enhance overall productivity and project delivery timelines.
- Schedule Maintenance: Keep the Master Time Schedule updated to reflect accurate and current project timelines.
- Data Integrity: Ensure all scheduling data and documentation are maintained, backed-up, and secured.
- Collaboration: Promote and maintain clear and open communication among all project stakeholders and external contractors.
Qualifications:
- Education: University Degree in Mechanical, Process, Civil, or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in large-scale projects, with a preference for those valued over €50M.
- Software Proficiency: Must have in-depth knowledge of Primavera OPC.
- Languages: Must be fluent in English and French.
- Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of production processes in the heavy industry will be advantageous.
- Communication Skills: Excellent oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
- Project Management: Strong understanding of project management principles, especially in greenfield and brownfield projects.
- Proactivity: Ability to drive project deliverables and adhere strictly to deadlines.
- Attention to Detail: Methodical approach to work with a keen emphasis on accuracy and thoroughness.
