Within our Solutions & Products division located in Ghent (with travel to production facilities in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany), we are seeking a passionate and driven Warehouse Scanning Specialist to join our dynamic team. Your role and responsabilities:
As our Warehouse Scanning Integrator, you will play a key role in transforming our warehouse operations by implementing advanced scanning systems for both inbound and outbound materials. Your responsibilities will include:
- Integrating Technology: Work with cutting-edge scanning technologies, including barcode and RFID systems, to optimize inventory tracking and management processes.
- Technical Support: Provide hands-on technical support for scanning systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth, uninterrupted operations.
- Training & Development: Conduct engaging training sessions for warehouse staff on using scanning equipment and associated software, empowering them with the skills they need to excel.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to scanning system integration, including user manuals and standard operating procedures in Dutch, French, and English.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including IT, logistics, and operations, to ensure seamless integration of scanning systems with our existing warehouse infrastructure.
Your profile and skills:
We're on the hunt for a candidate who embodies our values of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have:
- Fluency in Dutch and French, good English skills, and a basic understanding of German.
- Basic understanding of logistics in inbound and outbound flows.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (ideal, but not mandatory).
- An eagerness to learn and grow—this role is open to junior candidates who are motivated to succeed!
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a collaborative environment.
