We are looking for someone to join our dynamic team within our Solutions & Products division, based at our five locations in Sint-Denijs-Westrem, Sint-Pieters-Leeuw, Harelbeke, Poederoijen and Essen. As a Consultant Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the successful planning, coordination and execution of technical projects within the organisation. You will play a crucial role in the entire project process, from concept to completion, ensuring that all aspects of the project run smoothly and stay within set deadlines and budgets.

Job Description:

• Project planning: Develop detailed project plans including tasks, milestones, resources and timelines.
  
• Project coordination: Coordinate project team activities and ensure everyone is aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
  
• Technical advice: Provide technical advice and expertise in project design and implementation.
  
• Develop and discuss conceptual drawings with suppliers until execution.
• Budget management: Manage the project budget closely and ensure costs stay within budget.
  
• Risk management: Identify and manage project risks to minimise potential disruptions or delays.
  
• Progress reporting: Prepare regular progress reports and communicate them to stakeholders inside and outside the organisation.
  
• Quality assurance: Ensure projects meet required quality standards and specifications.
  
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, external suppliers and customers to achieve project objectives.

Profile:

• Master degree Industrial Engineer.
• Excellent technical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles and processes.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
  
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  
• Team-oriented with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
  
• Analytical thinking skills and attention to detail.
  
• Stress resistance and the ability to perform under pressure.
• Dutch, French and English are no problem for you.
