The Holcim Belgium Solutions & Products (SOP) Division, consisting of the companies
Cantillana and Compaktuna with 5 plants in Belgium, Netherlands and Germany,
specializes in the production and supply of high-quality construction materials. The product range consists of (masonry) mortars, screed, concrete, renders, tile adhesives, technical mortars, etc. Together, these companies form a key part of Holcim's operations, providing innovative and sustainable building materials for a wide range of construction projects. The division emphasizes quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, contributing to Holcim's leadership in the global building materials industry.
For our Compaktuna plant located in Zwijnaarde we are looking for a highly motivated Technical Compliance and Quality Assistant to join our team. This role will be responsible to support regulatory compliance processes, ensuring quality standards are met, and supporting various technical projects within lab department.
Your role:
1. Regulatory Affairs Management:
- SDS Documentation: Create new Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for products and
evaluate the validity of existing SDS after changes in raw materials. - Supporting the R&D department to ensure new products meet the safety
related regulatory. - Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Environmental Product Declaration (EPD):
Collect and organize master data for LCA/EPD calculations. Execute these
LCA/EPD calculations using an in-house available software tool. - Documentation Management: Prepare and manage Declarations of
Performance (DoPs) and ensure compliance with CE marking regulations.
2. SAP Master Data Management:
- Raw Materials and Articles Creation: Manage the creation of new raw
materials and articles in SAP, based on information provided by the R&D
team. - Bill of Materials (BOM) Management: Create or update BOM based on input
from R&D, ensuring accuracy and consistency in SAP.
3. Project Support:
- Assist in various projects related to technical compliance and quality
assurance, providing support across different stages from planning to
implementation. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and
quality, to ensure alignment with compliance and quality goals.
4. You report to the Technical Compliance and Quality Coordinator.
Your profile:
We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic person with the following competences:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related
field. - Knowledge of Dutch and English (verbal and written).
- Knowledge of French is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage technical data.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and
external stakeholders. - Knowledge of SAP, environmental regulations and sustainability practices is a plus.
